In Indiana, in the blogging world, life in general. I've been so busy and trying to keep up 2 other blogs and work and traveling and everything, I've just been too busy to keep up. I have a TON of posts I need to add. It'll probably take a while though because SO much has happened. I may just start posting from my most recent trip. trash bag backdrops

i got a cool tip from a friend who told me to use black trash bags as backdrops to take flower pictures. i think they turned out really good. i'll be carrying one around in my camera bag from now on. :D

chasing rainbows

alex was driving home from practice and called me and said get your camera, i see a rainbow. we couldn't see it from the house, so we went and looked for it. these are my first rainbow pix. i'm excited that they turned out! :)

i tried to get a pic of both sides together, but by the time we got to somewhere where we were far enough back to get both sides, this side was gone.

it was actually a double rainbow. me and alex saw it, but it didnt capture well on my camera, but i darkened it up in photoshop so you could see it.

they had two sets of fireworks going at thunder at the same time..gotta go. alex sees a rainbow.

i just found out that my great-grandmother died.

thunder over louisville 2009

was amazing! one of the coolest things i've ever seen. dad went with me, we had a blast. lol..no pun intended. i was really excited because i've been wanting to take firework pictures and haven't gotten any since i've been so into photography. and thunder is the largest annual pyrotechnics display in north america. what better place for firework pix?
