pray for reo

he just had surgery to get his appendix taken out late wednesday night. i just found out about it. he's home now, but still in a lot of pain. keep him in your prayers.

so much to do, so little time

tomorrow's my art show and i've been working like crazy to get everything ready for it. but i think i finally got everything done. except pack up the car. but i'm gonna do that in the morning. i'm so nervous. ahh! i just hope all this work is worth it. i took pix of everything and i'd post them up here, but i'm gonna post pix from my show tomorrow so it'll just be duplicated. gonna get some sleep so i can be awake tomorrow. thanks for all your support. wish me luck!

macie's homework

macie and hunter spent the night tonight and macie had forgotten to do her homework. so when i got home i helped her with her flash cards. she did so good, she could read them upside-down and everything.

a haircut, hootie, a blowfish, and a blood red moon

i went with mike to get his hair cut tonight. this is the fourth person in a week i've been with to cut their hair. lol. loads of fun. while i was there i ran into trisha, a girl that i haven't seen since middle school. it was kind of cool being able to talk to her after so long. after that, we went to pizza hut for dinner. then we went to walmart to get some music. mike decided he needed a new cd. we decided on hootie and the blowfish. heck yes! i haven't been able to get it out of my head ever since we got it. we tried to get a gift card for gas, but the cashier had no clue what she was doing. a line of about 10 people formed behind us while she was trying. so we went to another one and it took like 15 seconds for her to do it. lol. on the way out, we ran into carissa's mom. she works at subway. we got to talk to her for a while. the moon was amazing tonight. i wish i'd had my other camera with me, i only had my little one, so the pic isnt as good as it could be, but its still pretty awesome. we drove home with the windows down and the music turned up. it was so much fun.

alex's first car accident

don't worry. she's fine. the skittle however, suffered a huge dent and some scratches. poor thing. so. alex was backing off of the basketball court, onto the driveway, and jeremiah had parked too close and alex thought she could clear him, but she couldn't and smashed into his car. oops. luckily, it didn't do too much damage to either car. it hurt ours the most, but its still not that bad.

latchkey

i worked at latchkey today. i've been doing it two days a week since i quit penney's. i used to be a lot more before i started working there and then i cut it back to one day a week and now its up to two, sometimes if they need me, more. i've been there for a couple of years. i like it for the most part. today i got some awesome pix of the flag on my way into work. the wind was blowing and the sky was really cool so they look awesome. i also took video of the kids playing a game called "fishy, fishy". its pretty much the kids running around and tagging each other in pure chaos. anyway, here's the clip i got:
while playing fishy, fishy, one of the kids said that he could beat one of the other kids in a race. but she is much faster than him, or most of the kids for that matter. my mom told him to prove that he could beat her and there was a race. lol. she won. here's another clip:


after latchkey, i went with mom to get her hair cut and me and mike went out to olive garden for dinner. mmmm....

random dancing animals and a big hill

so. the other day on the way to work, mike almost hit 3 roosters who were just wandering in the middle of the road. he told me about it and then later that day, gordon was here watching mickey mouse and there were three chickens in the road dancing. coincedence? i think not... anyway, there were also many other dancing animals, including can-canning cows. yes. you heard me right, can-canning cows. so the next morning i asked mike if there were any cows in the middle of the road and if they were dancing. and he couldn't hear me well on my phone because i had just woken up and the phone was a staticy (not sure if that's a word, but i'm making it one...there was static on the phone. lol.) so he said "i don't know what you just said but i'm gonna say that the answer is maybe." hahahahaha. i about died laughing. after a minute, i was awake enough that i could explain to him why i was laughing. an no, sadly, there were no can-canning cows that morning. but anyway, i have it on video. because i'm starting to become obsessed with videography. its like..photography in motion! woot! oh. btw. there is a line running up and down my tv throughout this video. sorry about that. but there is also a random giant hill at the end of the video. i really wanna find it and go speed up and down it. anyone wanna join me?
