disturbing freezer pops

alex brought this to my attention the other night. its supposed to say "grape twin pop," but the way that it was lying in the freezer it looks like it says "rape in pop."

angie's dog, beauty, had puppies tonight. when we went over there, there were three and the ultrasound said that there should be more, so i might have some pupppy pix up soon! this is one i got tonight.

spring cleaning..in the fall

so i know that everyone usually goes cleaning crazy in the spring but i've been doing my spring cleaning this week..in october. lol. i've come to realize that i collect a lot of junk. i'm kind of a pack rat. but i've been doing good and throwing a lot of it out. hooray for me! i'm completely rearranging my room and everything. i hung up all of the pictures that i didn't sell at my art show and am going to use my room as my gallery. so i guess it has to be clean all the time now. lol. dangit, i didn't think this through...haha

uh-oh!

one of the water pipes at the school busted. it flooded and went all over the parking lot. they had to turn off the water main. its going to be so cold tonight that if there is not water running through the pipes that they'll freeze up and there's a chance that there won't be school tomorrow. the janitors are covered to their knees in water. its so cold, i feel so bad for them. :(

our trip to the pumpkin patch...for real this time

after the kids got out of school today, i picked them up and took them to the pumpkin patch. a different one this time. we went to anderson orchard to see if we'd have better luck there. it was a ton of fun. hunter got a pumpkin that weighed 19.5 pounds. he weighed 3 pumpkins and that was the weight on all three. it was weird. lol. macie got one that weighed 28.5 pounds. and i got one that was about 20 pounds. the kids also each got a bag of candy and we got a pie pumpkin. and a really tiny pumpkin for carol. it started to rain as we got in the car. perfect timing. it was a good day. we finally made it to the pumpkin patch. hooray!

catching up on blogging

so, i'm like a month behind on blogging. i'm working on catching up by going through all of my pictures and making new posts that go along with them. its taking forever! i'll go through and caption all of the pix in a couple of days..
note to self: don't forget to blog.
