furniture shopping

me and mom have been looking at furniture stores for a couple of weeks now since we decided that we needed new furniture. we found a dining room set the we liked and dad and alex joined us last saturday..valentines day..to make sure they liked it and to help us pick out the rest of the furniture. we all liked the dining room set right off the bat. then we looked around at couches and found a sectional that we all liked. so we put that on our list. then we went to look at recliners. then bedroom sets. then mattresses then bedroom sets again then couches again, and decided just to get two of the same couch rather than get two different ones. so we got two sectional couches, two storage ottomans that match the couches. then we got a recliner and alex found a mattress she liked to fit the bed that she liked that matched the dresser and mirror set for her room. we jumped around between different furniture a lot, but finally came to a decision. it was fun trying out all of the different chairs and beds and everything. oh. and since it was president's day....with every purchase of $50 or more, you got a free 5x7 picture of obama. haha. the frame matched my room, so i took obama out and put one of my own pictures in it. :)

me and mom were walking around the store when we came across this...dad and alex simultaneously plopped down on different mattresses. idk why but we thought it was really funny. we're easily amuzed. anyway..i missed the video op, so i made them do it again. lol. this one was totally mocked up.
