flat tires and bad days

isn't it funny how one little thing can change the mood of the whole day? alex got a flat tire on the way to seminary this morning and it threw off everyone's day. dad had to leave early to go help her and was late to work, alex's whole morning was messed up and me and mom had to spend the entire day getting new tires. one little thing ruin the whole day. i'm not upset with alex, it could've happened to anyone, but it really stinks that one little thing can cause so much trouble. it seemed like after it happened that everything else went wrong today. i was trying to make alex feel better and told her that it wasn't her fault that she hit the median, that the oompa loompas did it. they try to sabotage everything. i wrote her her own verse of the oompa loompa song. lol.
