our trip to the pumpkin patch...well, sort of

so. for ysa tonight we were supposed to carve pumpkins. for some reason, that got cancelled. so we decided that we would carve pumpkins anyway. hunter and macie wanted to go with us. so after mike got off work, we took the kids to beasley's orchard to the pumpkin patch. we got there a little before 5. they hayride to the pumpkin patch was $2 a person and it took you like 4 feet and they said that the last one had just left and that you can't walk to the pumpkin patch, you had to ride the hayride. so, we didn't end up getting any pumpkins or even get to the pumpkin patch. what a bummer. i told the kids i'd pick them up from school monday and take them. mike can't go though because he has to work, so the whole situation kind of stinks.
